‘That’s one good looking watch’, it’s still a comment I get when people see the Huawei Watch and for a limited time you can save $60 on Huawei Watch.

The model available on the Google Store is the stainless steel model with the steel mesh band. It normally sells for $649 on the Google Store but it’s now available for $589. The sale price undercuts retailers like Harvey Norman who still sell the same model for $646, though they do have the stainless steel model with a leather band for a super cheap $396 ($74 off the RRP).

It’s a pretty cheap price, but if you shop around you can beat even the Google Store pricing, though you’ll probably have to pay some shipping costs from some retailers if you can’t pick it up in-store.

It’s a great watch and if you need more info before diving in you can check out the review. The Huawei Watch is definitely getting the Android Wear 2.0 update – you can even get the Developer preview on it right now.

If you’re in the market for an Android Wear watch, this is a great watch to get, though with IFA starting there may be some watch shaped goodies announced soon. If you want to check out the Google Store, the watch is on-sale now.

The promotion period on the site says it lasts through to 1 January 2018 (!) so plenty of time to first see if there’s anything interesting at IFA (this year OR next ;P), or come back and buy this if not. Lovely watch with a lovely band.
