Watchmaker TAG Heuer will unveil their next Android Wear watch in the ‘Connected’ range later this week according to a tease on their Twitter account.
The upcoming TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch was announced earlier this year by CEO of TAG Heuer, Jean-Claude Biver. The tease for the announcement of this next watch lists March 14th, but it’s not expected to hit the market until at least May.

Mr Biver also appeared in a second teaser with model Bella Hadid in this tease for the Connected smartwatch in which she says she’d like a rose-gold coloured model:

According to Biver in his previous interview, the watch will contain a larger battery than their previous Connected watch, as well as more size options including a smaller version for women and ‘the Asian market’. TAG will again use Intel processors for the watch which will also include NFC and run Android Wear 2.0 so we can expect Android Pay functionality.
Other features such as GPS will be included and a more customisable look with options for more materials and colours will also be available.
Availability in Australia isn’t guaranteed however the original TAG Heuer Connected watch is available here in Australia for around $2,000. We’ll be watching for more information from TAG later this week.
Cool I’m keen to see how this plays out
