Chromecast dongles are fairly cheap as a device, but with quite a lot of utility. With such a low price, it’s surprising that more retailers aren’t using them as a sweetener when purchasing the higher end devices. We saw last week the Good Guys do a special, offering the Chromecast with a Moto G Gen 2, and now Dick Smith Electronics has begun offering a Chromecast when you purchase any Samsung tablet over $300.
There’s a wide range of Samsung tablets available from Dick Smith that qualify for the offer, including the entire Galaxy Tab S range, the Galaxy Tab4 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition and the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2. If you’re in the market for a Samsung tablet, then it’s a pretty neat sweetener.
