Mark your calendars, the rumoured February 9th launch of Android Wear 2.0 and the LG Watch Sport and Style has been moved up a day to February 8th.
The change in plan is still rumoured, with Google’s last communique on the launch still listing ‘early February’ as the official launch. The change in dates comes from the source which gave us the original Feb 9th date, Mr Evan Blass. The tweet says:

Google’s Android Wear 2.0 launch has been delayed quite severely since it was announced at Google I/O in May last year. The platform update will bring standalone apps to the platform as well as NFC payments among a slew of new fitness features.
To highlight the launch, Google has reportedly partnered with LG to produce two watches, the LG Watch Style, a smaller more ‘stylish’ watch, and a higher end, more fitness focused LG Watch Sport – all of this, both the hardware and software will apparently now be launched on February 8th, though LG Australia apparently has no plans to launch either watch here.
The launch will most likely come to our shores in the wee hours of February 9th, that’s this Thursday for those playing at home, so set your watches, mark your calendars and get ready to update your existing watch – if it’s compatible – or order a new one from the US.
