GooglePlus
Google+ drew a fair bit of ire when launching the platform, over Google’s insistence on users using their real names. This morning though they have backtracked on this policy advising: ‘there are no more restrictions on what name you can use’.

Changing your name isn’t very handy when you can’t get a custom URL. I don’t mind showing up as Andrew Smith but I don’t want +AndrewEspadaV8Smith, just let me have +EspadaV8
