Let’s face it, we are likely to be stuck at home for quite a while so why not think about improving your home audio setup on the cheap (ish)? The Google Home Max has been widely lauded as an amazing speaker with some great sound along with great features but it’s cost has always been prohibitive. Not so for two weeks from Thursday.
At JB Hi-Fi from this Thursday, 2nd April, you can pick yourself up a Google Home Max for half price at $198. The sale runs for two weeks until Wednesday April 15.
Of course in the current climate of various state movement restrictions we highly recommend you go the delivery route — let’s keep flattening the curve, the health professionals in Australia will thank you, as will those who require an ICU bed — and fork out another $9.95 for delivery (cost depends on your location but either way it should still be delivered).
The Google Home Max includes not just some great woofers (two 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers and two 0.7-inch tweeters) for high quality music but also far field microphones for all your Google Assistant requirements.
With the sale starting on Thursday we recommend you get in quick before they are all sold at — at half price they will go quick. Check in on the JB Hi-Fi website on Thursday morning heading here for the Chalk colour and here for the Charcoal version. Now might be a good time to make an investment in some decent home sound, especially if we are going to be continuing this isolation for an extended period of time.
couldnt resist, had to stimulate the economy!
I just checked and it’s already on sale, just bought one
I assume that OfficeWorks will price match and if we are lucky provide free delivery.
My preference would be the Lenovo 10″ Smart Display which is $229 in the catalogue.
Goddamn that’s tempting, but at the same time frivolous spending at the moment is hard to reconcile. I’m torn :/
Spend frivolously, my friend…your country needs you! Atleast that what I’ll be telling myself tomorrow….:)
