Vodafone customers with carrier-branded HTC One phones should get an update to Android 4.3.
As well as updating the base operating system to Android 4.3, new Features and enhancements within the update include:
- HTC Sense 5.5
- Signal bar indicator improvement
- HTC Blinkfeed update
- Photo & Video Highlights
- Enhancement to Quick Settings
- General performance and stability improvements
The update details:
- Android version: 4.3
- HTC sense version: 5.5
- Kernel version: 3.4.10-gfbedc47 root@abm012 # 1 SMP PREEMPT
- Baseband version: 4A.21.3263.04_10.38m.1157.04L
- Build number: 3.63.980.2 CL265048 release-keys
Vodafone says the update is available over the air (OTA) or through the HTC Hub Program on your PC. It’s 683MB in size, so it’s probably worth updating via WiFi.
As always with any update, you should back up your data before you begin.
Have you received the update yet? Let us know what you think – and what’s changed – in the comments.

when will Vodafone release android kitkat 4.4.2
I have just got update 4.3 on unlocked N7105 in Canberra. Yay it’s about time.
I updated, does any one else not have the panorama+ and dual capture camera modes in the update?
Miss some of the gallery theme islandia and Gotham were cool.
I have an outright 64gb version from harvey norman,I received the update a few hours ago…some very nice new touches! the gallery is so much better for navigation between albums etc
Why would I have not received an update of I have an international version then…? I assume I have an international version, I bought it outright from JB, and there is no carrier software on it….nothing comes up when I check for updates….?
If it’s not a google phone (ie. Nexus) it will be running a proprietary interface which has to be pushed by your carrier once it’s released. It’s a weird business model but it creates anticipation and want drive in consumers which is what their business thrives on. You want what you can’t have.
