Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event kicks off on March 29th in New York, but Samsung Australia has started taking expressions of interest in the handset already through their website and it looks like they’ve decided which colours they’re bringing.

The registration page is live now on the Samsung Australia website and they’re wanting a few details from you so they can notify you when they have some information on an Australian launch. The page asks the usual questions about Name, email address and then goes on to ask for you Instagram account – possibly checking for potential Instagram influencers to bring in when they launch the phone here.

Additional information includes the phone you’re upgrading from (all Samsung of course) and asking for your carrier and then it looks like they’re telegraphing the colour options they’ll be bringing here asking if your preference is for Gold, Silver or Black:

The page also tells us the date/time of the Samsung event — March 30th at 2am AEDT if you’d missed that so far — and then shows the teaser video for the launch:

The teaser will likely be replaced with the live stream video of the launch in New York on the morning of the 30th of March, but if not it’s going to be on the Samsung Mobile YouTube page.

There’s more teasers and leaks dropping every day for the Galaxy S8, it’s becoming a fairly regular thing so let’s see what the coming weeks bring.

    Major Sceptic

No doubt the samsung stores around the city will have it first up ,
for me i would rather not buy it from optus , otherwise you get the annoying optus advertising every time you close down and boot the phone up …… once bitten ……..

    pformagg

Hopefully Optus gets the phone, unlike the LG G6.
