Hello Moto! Renders of Motorola E6 and One Vision handsets leak

Earlier this week we saw leaked renders of the Moto Z4, and today we’re seeing Moto E6 and One Vision take a bow.

Moto E6

Motorola’s E series took their G series’ original remit of cheap and cheerful hardware running almost-stock Android and is these days known for delivering solid handsets at a wallet-friendly price. The E6 seems unlikely to deviate from this, with renders showing a pretty standard, slightly chunky device with few surprises.

The leak originates from 91Mobiles, where it’s pointed out that there’s no obvious fingerprint reader in sight (and it’s unlikely to be in-screen at this price point), so it’s likely the E6 will forego biometric security.

Otherwise we’re looking at a pretty standard low cost device featuring a notchless display on its face with a big chin featuring the “motorola” word mark.

The Moto E6 is expected to run a Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB of RAM and either 16 or 32GB storage.

We’ve seen the handsets release pretty consistently and prove pretty popular in Australia.

Motorola One Vision

An Android One device, the One Vision is a bit more upmarket than the E6 and features a faster processor with a hole-punch screen. If it launches in Australia, it’ll be the first time we’ve seen that display technology used outside of a Samsung device locally, a credit to Motorola/Lenovo’s manufacturing prowess.

Internally it’ll apparently feature a Snapdragon 675 processor with 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB storage. This makes it a fairly powerful upper-midranger – that processor is no slouch, and that’s a lot of RAM.

It also looks pretty hot in the blue and bronze colorways seen thus far.

Launching Soon?

Motorola has an event coming up in Brazil next week, and that’s become the company’s traditional launch for their affordable phones. The Moto E6 is probably a lock for launching in that market, but the One Vision could go either way.

We’re pretty sure we’ll see the Moto E6 come to Australia, but less certain on the One Vision – that range hasn’t seen a local release thus far. That said, the Moto X is looking a little long in the tooth and might be up for replacement…
