Motorola has today launched and announced its latest addition to the G line of devices with the Moto G51 5G. It’s the latest in the Moto range and comes with a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 120GHz refresh rate.

Powering the Moto G51 5G is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus, 6GB RAM and has 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded to 512GB via microSD card.

The Moto G51 5G comes with a triple rear camera set up with a 50MP main lens, 8MP wide/depth camera and a 2MP macro camera lens. The front facing camera is a 13MP which should be ensure you get those insta flawless snaps.

There is an impressive range of connectivity headed by Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 GHz | 5 GHz Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC, alongside a non replaceable 5000mAh. All of this is on a device that comes with Android 11 right out of the box. We’re not sure how likely an Android 12 upgrade is but we have reached out to Motorola for comment on this.

Speaking at the launch of the Moto G51 5G, Kurt Bonnici, Head of Motorola for Australia and New Zealand has stated that:

The Moto G51 5G features ThinkShield for Mobile which offers enhanced protection at every level. On top of these foundational features, Motorola has stated that it is bringing additional levels of security to our enterprise customers.

Furthermore, the Moto G51 5G builds on it with a comprehensive suite of tools called My UX. With this, consumers can enjoy a simple and easy-to-use Android user experience with the full power of Android 11. The Moto G51 5G is available from JB Hi-Fi website or instore in Indigo Blue and Bright Silver colours for $399.

Alex, are you certain about the availability of the G51 5G at JB HiFi?
I looked at the pages for both colour variants, and they both say ‘Coming Soon’ .
