Android 13 is making its way to the masses with the major manufacturers steadily rolling out updates. Now with Samusng bringing a beta version to the S21 series, a lot more users are set to get a taste soon.
SamMobile confirms that Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra devices in the UK enrolled in the Beta program are seeing updates. The important note there is that your device must be enrolled in the Beta program. If you’re not already on it, here’s how to do so:
- Log into the Samsung Members App with your Samsung Account
- Tap the Galaxy S21 One UI 5.0 beta program banner
- Enrol your device in the program
Once you’ve completed this, ensure you’re on Wi-Fi because the download is a whisker shy of 2GB. It brings all of the new features users have been waiting for with Android 13 and, of course, the distinct Samsung flavour you get with OneUI.
Our usual caveats around Beta software apply. Please ensure you’re comfortable with the potential that some features may be finished or work at all. Perhaps more importantly, if you’re not comfortable with this potential, don’t install it on your main devices.
