Hearthstone - Heroes of Warcraft
We get a few soft launches here in Australia, and along with New Zealand and Canada, gaming powerhouse Blizzard has advised they have launched their latest gaming venture: Hearthstone on Android tablets here today.

While the Electronic Card Trading Game is only available initially on tablets, Blizzard CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime, says this is the best fit for now, but he has advised they will be bringing the platform to smartphones in the future:

Hearthstone’s intuitive interface and approachable design make it a perfect fit for tablets, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring players have a great experience on a wide range of Android devices. We’re excited to welcome Android players to the Hearthstone community, and we’re looking forward to bringing the game to even more mobile platforms—including phones—in the future

Hearthstone is a freemium style game, which is based on purchasing packs of cards and building your deck to progress through the game. Google Play lists In-app Products priced between A$2.49 – A$64.99 per item, so be warned, this could get expensive. If you’re a massive Hearthstone fan though, get in quick because Blizzard is offering a pretty sweet deal if you’re ready to take up Hearthstone today, offering a free Classic card pack from the original Hearthstone set to anyone who starts a game – in any mode – on their Android Tablet.

Head on over to Google Play now to check it out and download it.

I was lucky enough to be in the original PC Beta for this. The gameplay is similar to most other TCG’s, and being a World of Warcraft player, I’ve quite enjoyed the virtual “TCG” of Hearthstone. I’m super glad that I can now play it on my tablet.

Very sluggish on my N7 (2012).

Just turning the screen on turns my N7(2012) sluggish!
