It looks like Samsung Pay could be almost here, with the South Korean company today emailing all Samsung Wallet users that the Samsung Wallet service will be shutting down as of June 30.
The email, which doesn’t go into any great detail about the reason for the closure, however its good news for users who may have any tickets or reservations yet to be used, that these tickets will still be available after the apps termination. However creating any new reservations or purchasing new tickets will be disabled post June 30th.
Of course this news just fuels even more rumours and speculation about the upcoming Samsung Pay, which was confirmed to be in the works when the company purchased LoopPay back in February.
We will be watching and waiting to see what the company announces about any upcoming payments app either before or after June.
