Australian developers Hipster Whale have been hard at work on their massively popular Crossy Road game, and not just with the Disney version that launched earlier this month. They’ve introduced a new feature to their standard Crossy Road feature, offering players the chance to take on each other.

In the latest update Crossy Road is now packing multi-layer mode for users attached to the same Wi-Fi network. Up to four players, all playing as different characters can enter the multi-player version of Crossy Road and as you can expect, the results can be fun – or frustrating – depending on how co-operative you feel.

Even once you die, you can apparently be resurrected by other players, making the whole game a lot of fun at a party level. With this level of co-operation we now really need Chromecast support on this game to play on the big screen.

The new update is available now, and it also comes with an exclusive launch figurine. If you’re interested in checking it out, head over to Google Play and grab it now.
