If you’ve ever wanted to broadcast live video on Twitter but found the thought of downloading another app to your phone a hassle, then Twitter has solved your problem making live video streaming available directly from the Twitter app.
In their blog post today, Twitter announced the new update will bring all the features of Periscope including commenting and sending hearts, but you will no longer need Periscope installed.
The update to allow live streaming from the Twitter is rolling out to both Android and iOS from today. Once you’ve received the update you’ll simply need to compose a new tweet and then select ‘LIVE’ which will bring you to a pre-broadcast screen allowing you to compose your shot, once you’re set hit ‘Go Live’ to start broadcasting.
