YouTube is moving closer to universal live streaming for their millions of users announcing today that the Live Streaming service they introduced last June, is now available to any channel with 10,000 or more subscribers.

Live Streaming will work for anyone from the YouTube app with the required amount of subscribers, though YouTube promises that ‘the rest of you will have it soon!’. If you’re lucky enough to meet the criteria, then initiating a live stream is simple: open YouTube, hit the capture button, and you’re live.

As a by-the-by, YouTube has also advised that their ‘SuperChat’ feature is now live as well allowing you to pay money to have a comment to your favourite YouTuber highlighted in a bright colour, or for the right price, pinned to the top of the chat. SuperChat is live now in over 40 countries – including Australia – so go check it out today.
