If you’re a frequent traveller, then Google Trips is quite a good app for keeping all the information on itinerary, reservations and more on your device. It’s good, but it’s getting three decent updates in the near future to make it even better.
Trips has been a good companion on a number of my trips, it automatically sucks in information from email reservations and then allows you to download that information offline. There are limits though, especially when trying to add in information manually, but that’s changing soon.
The next update will let you share reservation information from a trip with someone through an email, simply tap an arrow in the app and you can get send a complete list, or just a single reservation easily. You can also add new details for reservations from a trip like flight, hotel, car, and restaurant reservations manually even without email confirmation. In the update, you’ll also get all your upcoming train and bus reservations organised in one place for your convenience.
If you’ve got an upcoming trip it’s worthwhile trying out Google Trips, you can grab the app for free from Google Play from the link below.
