Another entry in the ever growing list of Google Assistant apps, with Vision Australia launching their own Google Assistant app.
The app itself is purely informational, but it’s there and you can access it now in the directory. You can call the app by any number of combinations of ‘Ask Vision Australia’, ‘Talk to Vision Australia’ etc. which brings the app up on your phone, Google Assistant enabled speaker, Chromebook etc.
The app provides information on the organisation itself, the board members, how to get in contact with them or check out their shop.
It’s still learning, so may take a while before they add in some more functionality but it’s there and if you’re in need of anything from Vision Australia – they even sell mobile phones with Synaptic software for the vision impaired – then check it out.
