The growth of Google Pay in Australia is continuing in 2019 with Geelong Bank adding Google Pay support for their customers.
The support for Google Pay at Geelong bank extends only for rediCARD account customers who can now add their card to Google Pay and start tapping. Customers can tap & pay for transactions under $100, though anything over will require a PIN to be entered at the terminal.
Unfortunately there’s no Google Pay promotions to take advantage of for new users, but at least the convenience of tap & pay on your phone is now there.
If you’re a Geelong Bank customer you’ll need to download the Google Pay app from Google Play and it’s a good idea to check ou their terms and conditions when you do.
