Social media has a huge role to play in society these days, particularly when it comes to general communication and inclusivity. Instagram has joined the growing number of social platforms that now allow users to add pronouns to their profile.

The feature allows you to add multiple pronouns to your profile. These appear next to your name in a faded grey where others — you choose: all or just your followers — can see. Taking the feature a step further, Instagram also has a request form where you can make suggestions of pronouns.
The feature is only available in limited countries at this time. Instagram do note that there are noted plans to expand the feature further in the near future.
