This weekend, Optus is offering double data on a range of mobile plans, with a further 20% saving off the cost of some of those plans. It’s a great time to sign up with Optus, but you’d want to be quick – these offers expire tomorrow, 1 October 2018.
Probably the bargain of the bunch is the $36 plan. Not only is it reduced from $45 per month, but it includes $30 GB data for $36 a month, on top of unlimited standard national calls and text, with 300 international minutes to 35 countries as well.
There’s a range of further plans with double data, too, but the plan fees are not discounted. However, they do still represent a huge doubling of inclusions at a reasonable price:
- $44 per month over 12 months gets you 50GB data each month
- $52 per month for 80GB data each month
The good news is you don’t need to head in store to sign up – you can do it entirely online with your new SIM to be delivered within a couple of days. Optus’ SIM Only Plans page will let you order online, but as noted above, be quick: this offer ends tomorrow.
Not that long ago Optus had this plan with first month free. This effectively brought down monthly fee to $33!
