We found it strange that carriers didn’t go near Huawei’s excellent P20 Pro earlier in the year, and it seems they’ve taken notice. Huawei’s latest and greatest, the just-announced Mate 20 Pro, will be landing on some Aussie carriers in the coming weeks.

The Mate 20 Pro has just gone live on Optus’ website.

Their recommended plan is $85/mo, for which you’ll get 50GB total data per month and unlimited Australian and international talk and text. This also includes free Optus Sport, free National Geographic, free zero-rated Google Play Music / Spotify / iHeartRADIO, and the option to zero-rate video streaming services (that’s Netflix, Stan, and ABC iView/Kids/Me) for an additional $5/month. This plan will cost $1,800 over 24 months (a little more if you take up the zero-rating TV option).

That’s not the only option, though! You can also go down to a $75/month plan, or up to a whopping $125/month should your heart desire it.

Additionally, Optus is offering a pre-order bonus until the end of October – you’ll get a set of Huawei Freebuds earphones and a Wireless Charger for free (RRP $348) – that’s a good value bonus – why wouldn’t you want that wireless charger to take advantage of the phone’s built-in Qi charging?

If you’re anxious to get your hands on Huawei’s Mate 20 and want to sign up for service with Optus, head on over to the Optus website and start your signup process now.

Don’t fall for it, they rarely update the phones

This is a heaps better deal than buying outright. JBHIFI is currently listing the Mate 20 Pro for $1599… without a phone plan or data.
This is madness (? – this here incase i’m just out of touch…). i was looking forward to the Mate 20 Pro too damn exxy.
