Boost Mobile has announced a new international roaming offering called Boost Anytime Plus International Roaming. It’s a long name for a simple offering which travelling Boost customers will love.
For $60, you get 5GB of data, 100 SMS and 30 minutes of calls to standard numbers with a 14-day expiry to use in 15 countries, including China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the USA.
These are the most popular and frequently visited locations for Aussies heading overseas, and this gives international roaming inclusions to prepaid customers at a great rate.
$60 over 14 days works out to around $4.30 per day, which costs less than the $5 per day roaming offered by Vodafone, and much less than the $10 per day roaming from Telstra. Depending on your perspective, the inclusions are relatively less generous than Vodafone – which offers your own plan inclusions for use overseas for your $5 – but probably slightly more worthwhile than Telstra’s (which are quite limited).
However, if you’re someone that travels a bit, and wants the benefits of Telstra’s superior coverage in more places around Australia, this makes Boost Mobile an even more appealing proposition.
