Engadget are quoting an anonymous tipster, who they obviously believe to be a credible source, with the claim that Samsung and Google’s Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich event has been rescheduled for Wednesday 19 October 2011 – that’s NEXT WEDNESDAY – which will coincide with the AsiaD: All Things Digital event there next week.

A few dates have been rumoured since the event was delayed, from 27 October in London to some time in mid-November, but this one seems the most credible so far. Obviously we’ll keep you updated once a date is confirmed.

Well, if they are going to reveal it on the 19th, the might wanna start making a buzz about it now…..

So what’s the thinking here?? Are they going to try and fly under the radar and drop this bad boy on the 19th without actually confirming that this will be the “big day”, or are we expecting more information about exactly what will be announced on the 19th?

Either way – can you please post details such as local time of the announcement and a link to livestream if available? Thanks!

William Beckett

Seems logical.
Andy Rubin, Bradley Horowitz and Won-Pyo Hon are all confirmed speakers at AsiaD. If no Nexus Prime, ICS and G+2.0 will most certainly be revealed IMO.

A Hong Kong announcement will be during our daytime too, no need to get up at 5:30am!
