If you’re a Commonwealth Bank Awards participant and you’re a massive fan of Android, you just might be interested to know that the Sony Tablet S — the one that’s available for pre-order for $689 — will be available for redemption from the 20th of October (next Thursday). The pamphlet I have here makes no mention of how points you’ll have to hand over in order to get a Tablet S, but going by other items in the Awards List, it’ll be over the 100,000 mark.

The Sony Tablet S runs Android 3.2 and is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core Tegra 2 CPU. The screen size is 9.4-inches with a 1280×800 resolution. For more specs, check out the Tablet S official site.

On the site, it mentions this about the Sony Tablet S screen:

Can’t wait to check out it’s ant reflection capabilities. They’re probably pretty good.

I’m more interested in the Tablet P though.. that looks pretty unique for a tablet.
