If you’re a Commonwealth Bank of Australia customer then you’re going to want to have CommBank Kaching installed on your Android device for all your mobile banking needs. It was updated today and is now no longer just a mobile site wrapped in an Android app, instead it’s a full-blown native app that’s very slick and easy to use.
You can manage all your accounts, pay bills, send money via email, phone, and Facebook, locate the nearest CBA ATM and branch, and receive payments.
Currently the app is compatible with the following devices, however, if you own a different device and can get the app going, please let us know!
Compatible devices…
- Samsung Galaxy S
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- Samsung Nexus S
- Samsung Galaxy Ace
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy Gio
- Samsung Galaxy W
- HTC Desire HD
- HTC One X
- HTC Sensation
- HTC Incredible S
For more information about Kaching, you can check out the Commonwealth Bank’s web site for Kaching.

Note 2 owners *drum roll*
We have KACHING!
Until these moronic luddites support NFC, who cares?
used to work on my s3, but now its updated it wont do bpay!!!!
Works well on my RAZR HD. Massive improvement.
Desire HD compatibility, but not One S – much to my mate’s disgust. Can’t really see the logic there!
I had it on my note 2 but now apparently it isn’t compatible since the silly update – I use this app every day…when are they going to fix it.
The person those screenshots belong to is rich.
Way better than the ‘CommBank’ app. Favourite feature is being able to see your default balance without logging in. Real handy.
Cant get itnto work on my S2. Last version worked fine. This version the ‘accept’ button doesnt appear during terms and conditions so I cant even get into it. Thoughts?
Looks much nicer. Good work, Commonwealth Bank!
still no nfc payment support?
No note 2!!
Note 2!!!
Working well on Nexus 4, think the graphic design is uglier but it’s a lot more responsive 🙂
Works wonderfully on my HTC One X. Such a superior experience to the previous version.
confirmed working on Google Nexus 4 but the bar at the top isn’t sized properly for the resolution.
no support for Note 2…looks like need to look for the apk 🙁
gah they allow it for the Samsung GS3 (i9300), but not the LTE version (i9305) 🙁 it’s the same phone!!
OK it appeared for me on my i9305 last night.. not sure what happened. Either way, it’s an excellent upgrade
