HTC’s 2013 flagship device is expected to be the HTC M7, a 4.7-inch device with an impressive Super LCD3 1080p display, and finally we have a leaked render of what the device is actually going to look like. Unwired View are reporting that the render doesn’t have any logos or branding on it, so the final version make see minor tweaks to add them in.
Other than that, the device is clearly all display right up to the edges which — in theory — would make it slightly smaller than the HTC Butterfly (143 x 70.5 x 9.1 mm) which has a 5-inch 1080p display. There are also no capacitive buttons under the display — not to say they won’t be added later — which would mean that HTC are going the way of on-screen buttons.
A cool addition to the M7 could be the inclusion of an IR port on the top of the device that has learning capabilities so that you can use it as a universal remote. It sounds gimmicky, but it could be fairly interesting if it actually works properly. We’ll see.
Unwired View says that the device will launch a few weeks after Mobile World Congress in February with a RRP of around US$600.

Let’s just hope the battery is big enough to power this thing… That’s usually where HTC fails.
That’s an extremely cool looking phone. Minimal top and bottom bezel, hopefully with minimal side bezels.
With the right specs it could be my next phone.
Hope the render is real.
I love that HTC has decided to be a No Compromise Screens company. I hope that gets them more customers.
I just hope it releases in Australia sooon…as most of the best spec phones are last to release or never to release in Ausie land….
Wow. Looks exactly like the new black berry leaks…
Man that looks sexy.. my biggest disappointment with the Nexus4, no LTE & screen is washed out. The OneX/XL is still the best screen i’ve seen on any mobile device still, if this is better… wow.
Totally Agree with you mate…
I also used HTC One X before getting my hands on Nexus4 couple of months back…HTC has the best display of all…with M7…1080p going to kill all other once more…
I believe the Xperia Z’s screen will be the bees knees when released in March.
