Galaxy S4

Samsung have just announced that the Galaxy S 4 has already sold 10 million units worldwide in record time, less than 30 days from its official release date. The Samsung success beats their previous Galaxy S III and Galaxy S II sales records by a considerable margin: 50 days for the Galaxy S III and 5 months for the Galaxy S II respectively.

JK Shin, CEO and President of the IT & Mobile Communications Division of Samsung Electronics said:

“On behalf of Samsung, I would like to thank the millions of customers around the world who have chosen the Samsung GALAXY S4. At Samsung we’ll continue to pursue innovation inspired by and for people.”

The announcement also added that the Galaxy S 4 will soon be available in Blue Arctic and Red Aurora colours, with Purple Mirage and Brown Autumn to follow soon after. Samsung have had massive success with the Galaxy S range of phones and while they continue to combine good marketing and solid products it’s likely to continue.

I bought the S 2.5 years ago. I now have an S2 (10 months) that was given to me as the USB port did not work. I fixed the USB port for $50 but I have no reason to upgrade as the phone works perfectly fine for me. Currently running CM 10.1.
