Swiftkey is one of the most successful keyboard apps on the Play Store. The latest release – Swiftkey Cloud – was announced in late July as a Beta product and allowed users to sync their data to the ‘cloud’ using Google+ to sync. Swiftkey announced last night that the Beta has now ended and is now available for existing Swiftkey owners to download and for everyone else, it’s on sale at 50% off.
In addition to the cloud Sync function, in Swiftkey Cloud they consistently update the cloud dictionary on the fly with current ‘trending phrases’ from Twitter. They’ve added one-click authorisation for Gmail and Facebook to make it easier and faster and you can also include Yahoo Mail in your list of places that Swiftkey can learn from in addition to the SMS, Twitter and RSS feeds which for most users covers 95% or more of the input you’re likely to do from your mobile device.
Head over to Google Play where SwiftKey is currently 50% off in the Play Store in both Tablet and Phone versions.
Have you used SwiftKey Cloud?
I still wished they could interface with WhatsApp… I hardly use SMS these days.
