With the Mobile World Congress being held in Barcelona next week, we’re expecting plenty of Android-related announcements from a number of different manufacturers, and it looks like we can add Intel to that list. A leaked roadmap shows that Intel are planning to announce two new chips for smartphones and tablets at MWC, One geared towards Android tablets, and one which is said to be a 64-bit variant of its Bay Trail-T.

Intel have never really been big players in the Android space, with ASUS and Lenovo really being the only manufacturers that have used Intel chips with any success. This could change though, if the leaked document is anything to go by. Ausdroid will be following MWC closely next week, so we will be sure to give you any information on Intel’s new chips as we hear it.
