sonysmartwatch2

JB Hi-Fi has dropped the price for the Sony Smartwatch 2 to $189.ย The Sony Smartwatch 2 was announced back in July last year and since then has been on sale through authorised Sony retailers and Sony Australia’s own Sony Style website for $354.95 RRP. We did see Kogan offering the Smartwatch 2 for $149, though the deal was extremely limited and since then the device has remained at the RRP price point.

Ausdroid liked the Smartwatch 2 whenย we reviewed it last year, and you can read the review for further insight into the device itself.

The JB Hi-Fi special is for the metal band version of the Smartwatch 2 and they are advising there is limited stock available. You can view the deal on JB Hi-Fi’s website or in-store right now.

Are you in the market for a smartwatch? Would this sale price tempt you to purchase one or will you hold out for up-coming Android Ware Smartwatches from Motorola, LG and other manufacturers?

Expensive? How much are you expecting the Moto 360 to cost?
Also, If Android Wear is based on Android sooner or later there wil be a port for this watch if popular enough.

There has been no indication or rumour to pricing for the Moto 360.

Exactly. No one knows how much the Moto360 will cost but Vijay seems to think $190 is expensive. The 360 could be like $400+

You compared the Smartwatch 2 to the Moto360.

I’m sorry all I wanted to say was that I think $190 is cheap for a smart watch. I also think the Moto360 will be expensive.

    toast

Not weeks sir. Give it 6 months. Many more to arrive in Aus, knowing Moto.
