Google IO
Google I/O is the pinnacle of Google events, it’s where we find out what’s happening in the next year with Android, Chrome/OS, Maps, Search, basically anything Google does. It was an amazing, awe-inspiring event, which Ausdroid finally got to attend. If you weren’t lucky enough to be invited, and with only 5,000 developers invited, chances are you weren’t, you can still see what happened at Moscone West in this highlights video that Google has released:

If you’re a developer, then that is a fun video, but the meat of the matter is in the developer talks which Google hosts. These have all been made available on the Google I/O website, and Google will be releasing more of their Dev Bytes videos over the next 100 days on their Google Developers YouTube channel.

We hope to make it to Google I/O next year, but we’re aware that it’s pretty stiff competition, so it’s good to know we can check it all out remotely.
