Google Play Books

The focus for a lot of users in terms of Google Play is apps and movies, sadly for them they’re missing out on some fantastic bargains. I often explore the Play Store and just “duck in” to Google Books with good intentions of merely seeing the list of new release books and find very quickly I’ve spent $15 or $20 and grabbed a few books for the collection.

One recommendation I can’t push enough if you’re into suspense is to pick up Stephen King’s masterpiece; The Stand which is currently being (virtually) thrown out for AU$4.74

With a collection of over 70 titles available on Google Books, Stephen King readers like myself are happy little campers when specials pop up like this.

I’m a happy camper with Google Books. I usually use my lunchtime to read. On Freakonomics at the moment which is quite fascinating. Prior to that I devoured the Millennium Trilogy and Odd Thomas series.

I always check it before buying books. Unfortunately, Amazon still seems to be a tad cheaper.
