If you’re inclined to sift through the oddly soothing posts from reddit’s /r/cableporn subreddit,then this video is for you. Google has opened up their usually hidden data centres for a virtual tour recorded in 360° for you to ogle over your long weekend.

While the best experience is in Google Cardboard, like all other 360° videos on YouTube, you can watch this one on your desktop as well. The video clocks in at around 8 and a half minutes, but shows off the data centres and lets you ‘Learn about the massive scale, the incredible attention to security and privacy, and the amazing efforts to make the data center extremely efficient and green’.
