If you’re desperate for a Google Cardboard headset and just completely out of cardboard but happen to have a handy kitchen full of icing and biscuits, then this is the project for you. The team at Make had a bizarre turn of events which led to them making their own completely edible (except for the lenses) Google Cardboard headset.
There’s a few things, ingredients if you will, you’ll probably want to assemble before you embark on making your own. The Make team used icing and graham crackers, but well any biscuity type thing will do. You’ll also need the correct lenses and the templates for Google Cardboard which you can grab from the Google Cardboard site. After that, it’s pretty simple as you can see in the video below.
