Welcome to a new month and of course that means Google has released a security bulletin outlining all the issues they’ve found, or had reported to them and subsequently fixed. For those of you on a supported Nexus or Pixel device, that means you’ll be receiving an OTA update soon, or if you can’t wait then you’ll find updated images or Over The Air (OTA) links are now available.
The latest security bulletin is, as usual, divided into two released, a June 1st and June 5th. The June 5th release is the most comprehensive containing all the fixes for this month, and it’s this release that will head out to Nexus and Pixel owners. This months security bulletin breaks down the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure IDs (CVEs) into the components of Android that are affected, including by Bluetooth, the Libraries they reference or even the chipset (Mediatek, Nvidia and Qualcomm).
For the most part, you’ll just want the latest updates, and for supported Nexus and Pixel devices, which include the Nexus 5X, 6, 6P, Player, 9, and Pixel C and Pixel/Pixel XL, you’ll be glad to note that an OTA is on its way. If you can’t wait, then Google has supplied a link to OTA and Factory Images for each of the devices on their software downloads page.

Again, if you don’t want to stuff around with updates an OTA should find its way to you shortly.
