Robotic vacuum cleaners are quite popular, and there’s another couple about to enter the market with Ecovacs announcing they will be coming to Australia soon.
After announcing them at IFA, Ecovacs will launch their DEEBOT OZMO 610 and DEEBOT OZMO 930 in Australia later this year. Both models feature ‘Ozmo technology’ which lets them mop and sweep entire floors in one step, but the Ozmo 930 goes a step further recognising different floor coverings and automatically adjusts cleaning modes to suit. The Ozmo 930 is also Google Home compatible, so you’ll be able to tell it when to start cleaning.
The vacuum cleaners are app controlled using the Ecovacs Robotics app which will let you schedule cleaning times and set cleaning modes as well as monitor the cleaning status from your phone or tablet.
Talking about the launch of the new models at IFA and the impending Australian launch, Damian Commane, Country Manager for Ecovacs Australia and New Zealand said
IFA is a very exciting time for us, and the timing could not be better to be showcasing products such as the DEEBOT OZMO 610 and DEEBOT OZMO 930. With the launch of the Ecovacs Robotics brand imminent for the Australian market, this is a great way to introduce products that we anticipate will be available as well as get first-hand experience of reactions from the public.
At this stage no pricing or dates have been announced for the launch in Australia, but we’ll find out more soon.
