We know the tech world moves quickly, but perhaps this is a touch too quick. Hot on the heels of releasing the Mate 10 to the world, we’re now looking towards their 2018 lineup, and with pictures of the rumoured P11 Plus now doing the rounds, we’re getting just a little excited.
What we’re seeing is very Huawei, but it looks like we’re going to see the 18:9 screen which landed on the Mate 10 line arriving on next year’s P11 range as well. Other interesting things to note are the dual-camera setup, with what looks like two separate modules rather than one – but this might not be the final design. The USB-C port is as expected, but the retention of the 3.5mm headphone jack is welcome.
Huawei have traditionally gone a bit late with their P-series phones, opting to launch them at events other than Mobile World Congress, but this year Huawei launched the P-line at MWC. If this leak and the timing is anything to go by, it suggests we may well see another major Huawei launch at the show in February 2018.
Of course, these are just a few leaked images, and a lot can change in three months. Here’s hoping we’ll find out more as the release approaches.
