After bringing the long awaited Spotify Music integration to their Fenix 5 Plus sports watches last month, Garmin has begun delivering the platform to owners of the Forerunner 645 Music watches.
The Spotify Support is restricted to Spotify Premium members, though users of the free Spotify service can still browse their library on the watch. The Spotify app is now available to install on your wrist through the Connect IQ store in the Garmin Connect app. You’ll need to run through the Spotify account sign-in to connect the Garmin Connect and Spotify services, but it’s as easy as that.
According to former Ausdroider Matt Booth who found the Spotify integration is now live, the experience really well implemented and an awesome addition.
Phil quite enjoyed the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music when he reviewed it back in July, and you have to wonder why they didn’t try for the integration as a launch feature given the watch is actually called the ‘Music’. But, better late than never, if you’ve got a Garmin 645 Forerunner Music on your wrist and you’re a Spoitfy user try it out and let us know what you think.
Just did a sync etc on Garmin and checked the Music Apps but do not have Spotify yet…
