Most phones don’t have it anymore. Most manufacturers say there is no room for it anymore with the thin phones and in-display fingerprint sensor. Not Samsung. Samsung are set to still include a headphone jack in the Galaxy S10+ (and other models most likely) according to a new leak today.

Evan Blass (@evleaks) who needs no introduction here, has today Tweeted out an image he received from a tipster. The image is of a banner which “won’t be seen until post-launch”.

As you can see there is indeed a headphone jack in the banner. It is worth noting that Samsung are including a different branded and type of in-display fingerprint sensor than other manufacturers. Samsung will be using the Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint sensor whereas most other manufacturers use the Synaptics optical fingerprint sensor.

It is possible that the Qualcomm version does not require as much space as the Synaptics offering hence the space being available for the inclusion of the headphone jack. OnePlus have said that they had to remove their headphone jack to find the room to include the in-display fingerprint sensor.

With just over a week to go until the Samsung Unpacked event in San Francisco you can be sure we will see more of the Galaxy S10 devices in the lead-up to the event. Is there anything left that you want to know about the phones?
