There is so much going on at CES 2020 that it is getting difficult trying to keep track of it all. This year D-Link have come to CES and are announcing some new cameras into their lineup.
The new mydlink cameras feature their new AI technology that provides edge-based person detection “allowing for more intelligent and personal automation and surveillance”.
The cameras all work with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and feature 128-bit wireless encryption, built in Bluetooth and cloud recording. All of them work with the mydlink app for remote viewing and management.
The four new cameras also individually feature the following:
DCS-8630LH and DCS-8627LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Spotlight Cameras

- Edge-based person detection

- Glass-break detection
- Speaker/siren with two-way audio
- Google Assistant/ Alexa voice commands can turn on/off spotlight and siren
- The DCS-8630LH features built-in smart home hub with Zigbee™Technology
DCS-8526LH – Full HD Pan/Tilt Pro Wi-Fi Camera
- 360° horizontal view with 340° pan / 105°tilt
- Auto motion tracking
- Panorama view angle selection
- Edge-based person detection
- Built-in Ethernet port for wired connection
- Physical privacy mode
DCS-8302LH – Full HD Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera
- Edge-based person detection
- Splash proof indoor/outdoor design
- Built-in Ethernet port for wired connection
- Built-in microphone and speaker with siren
DCS-8000LHV2 Mini Full HD Wi-Fi Camera
- Compact size 3.7 x 4.5 x 9.5 cm
- Full HD resolution 1080p at 30 fps with 138°FOV
- Edge-based person detection
These cameras are all slated to arrive in Australia later this year with pricing and availability announced closer to that time. There can never be enough options for us as consumers so it is good to see D-Link continue to improve and expand their smart camera lineup.
