Amazon have their massive sale every year and it has expanded in recent years to be more than just a day. Not only have Aussies been able to access local deals for 48 hours but also US deals for just about another day.

This year is no different with our local Prime Day beginning at 12am AEDT on Tuesday October 13 and finishing up at 11:59pm AEDT Wednesday 14 October. Aussies will also be able to access the US deals on Amazon.com.au through the global store until 6pm AEDT Thursday 15 October. That is a massive 66 hours of deals!

So what’s on sale this year? Apparently tens of thousands of products from big brands and small local businesses — let’s try and support local businesses as it’s more important now more than ever. Deals will be launching across “all categories” including Amazon devices, consumer electronics, pantry food and drink, toys, fashion, beauty and more.

To access local stores Amazon have a specific link to get there with curated collections to connect you with local businesses anywhere and everywhere in Australia.

We’re excited to offer Australian Prime members the chance to access fantastic savings across tens of thousands of products from international and Aussie brands across all categories for Prime Day this year. In addition, to help customers discover more local brands on Amazon.com.au, we are proud to put small Australian businesses front and centre through our ‘Shop Local’ store on Prime Day and beyond.Matt Furlong, Amazon Au

Remember you do need to be an Amazon Prime member to take part in the deals and although Prime does cost $6.99 per month or $59 annually there is a 30 day free trial that you can access while the sale is on.

For more information head on over to Amazon’s Prime Day page and while we wait for October 13 start writing a list of things you want to pick up on the day (last year I even ordered a slab of Mother Energy drinks for super cheap).
