$70 for something that should really be the same price as in the US – 30. FFS Google.

Nope – won’t be buying one of these. how about they focus on delivering the basics like music, instead of over priced rubbish thats released way too late. I hate apples, but i wish google had the same process for releasing products instantly.

I can get a dock with a power adapter for half the price plus shipping and I can get it a day or two later without having to wait 1-2 weeks or however long 1-2 weeks is in Google time. Really Google? Seriously? Big fat fail. Google is getting worse by the day, they couldn’t organise a root in a brothel.

Adrian

got it for $35 at the good guys

karLcx

assuming that forces you to have it in portrait mode. bugger that.

StuartM

Does it even use the pins? It says in the description it uses the micro USB port for charging…

Joshua Wenham

It means micro usb for the dock itself, tablet will charge with pogo pins.

Jamesz Zhang

why cost so much

To me this means it is an overseas transaction (and ANZ charges you as much) therefore the GST is not applicable so they again rip you off. What this says to me is that Google is charging AU rates and the GST and pocketing it all for itself. ATO get onto these guys, either way they are avoiding taxes and not acting in good… Read more ยป

So you’re paying for a piece of angled plastic with a charge port in it?

Graham Bae

Yep, doesn’t even come with a charger ๐Ÿ™
