If you purchased a Galaxy S7/S7 Edge this year, chances are you already have a Samsung Gear VR headset, but if you have an older compatible model device you can get a pretty good deal if you want to pic up the headset.

Unique Mobiles are shipping the headset out for $99.92, a bargain with the retail price usually $159. You can get some good deals on eBay but this is a pretty good option. Unique Mobiles ship the headset from their Brisbane warehouse and has a local warranty if something goes wrong.

As well as the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, this generation Gear VR is also compatible with the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6.

The Gear VR is powered by Oculus software and has a heap of games, apps and VR related apps available in the Oculus app store for you to explore.

If you want to get in on the deal head over to Unique Mobiles and check out the deal for yourself.

Can you guys explain how the international s7 on their site is only $700 when the Australian version of the same phone is $1075? I think the cheaper one is exynos vs the more expensive snap dragon but surely there’s not a $375 difference between the two processors. That price differential is enormous.

We agree – the price is exorbitant It’s $679.99USD (around $890AUD) + Shipping $65USD (a shade over $84AUD) making it just under $1,000AUD. Pretty good pricing, except if you ever have to send it back to the US for warranty, then that’s additional shipping.

Comes down to how confident you are I guess.
