Get Chromecast Screen Mirroring on more devices (Root required)

Google launched Screen Mirroring from Android to Chromecast only a couple of days ago, but it’s fairly limited. Google announced that while limited to a few devices, it’s expected to roll out to more devices soon. But why wait? This being Android the option to jump the line and start mirroring your screen to Chromecast is now open thanks to the fine folk over at XDA-Developers.

To get the workaround going, you will need root access on your device. If you’re already rooted, then you’ll require the file – MirrorEnabler.apk – provided by XDA member r3pwn, which will trick your device into mirroring to Chromecast.

There’s been a few devices tested and found working, while others have been tested and found to either sort of work or not work at all. Which devices?
