HuaweI Watch
The sudden appearance of the long awaited Huawei Watch on Amazon in the early hours of Saturday morning caught many off guard. Amazon apparently moved to remove the links quite quickly, with people reporting dead links within an hour of our article going up. It appears that the September 2nd dispatch date has been revised for those who did manage to get their orders in for the most watch looking Android Wear yet.

Customers who ordered the watch are now currently receiving the below email according to Android Police:

Hello,
We’re writing about the order you placed on August 28, 2015 (Order#xxx). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:
“Huawei Watch Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Link Band (U.S. Warranty)”
Estimated arrival date: September 18, 2015

The pages have been removed, but one enterprising redditor managed to snag the pictures of the various models – except the Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel link Band model – of the Huawei Watch and uploaded them to Imgur, and you can check them out here.

The Gold with Leather Strap model is being eyed off with envy here in the Ausdroid offices, though the discussion on what more hardware Android Wear needs to bring to the table is also being discussed for what is essentially Gen 2 hardware.

Did you pre-order the Huawei Watch? Will you if it goes live on the 18th of September or is now a good time to wait with IFA beginning next week?

The Huawei watch was going to be the one I slapped down some cash for, but now with IFA so close, and the next Moto 360 looking more watch size… I’m going to wait.
