Google Chrome OS
ChromeOS is growing quite rapidly with more and more features being rolled into Google’s ‘other’ OS every day, and one of those features is Chromecast support for the Media player on the platform.

Google recently split the media player into a separate app, from the File picker and according to a recent code commit, the feature will be coming to ChromeOS via a flag at some stage in the future. The commit is fairly basic with just the rudimentary entry added to Issue 374803003

Video Player: Add a flag to support chromecast

This patch just adds the flag. The implementation will be committed later.

BUG=305511
TEST=none

Committed: https://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=281683

We should see this option switched on in a future Dev build of ChromeOS, and with ChromeOS builds rolling out every 6 weeks, we shouldn’t have long to wait.
