The Lenovo Tab 3 10 is a perfect cheap quality large tablet at the current runout price of $199 available until July 19th from The Good Guys.

The strengths of the Tab3 10 include: stock Android implementation which always gets a tick from us at Ausdroid, 32GB on-board storage with a microSD slot to add extra upto 64GB more, full HD screen 1920×1080 and the ability to access all Wi-Fi speeds including modern AC, splash/dust/scratch-resistant thanks to its Gorilla Glass display and decent Dolby Atmos enhanced dual speakers.

As you can see from the specifications below the Tab3 10 doesn’t have a super powerful processor and the Tab3 10 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is very unlikely to be upgraded to 7.0.

However I purchased one as a present for a family member a while ago so I can vouch for its ability to be a perfectly fine tablet to use on the couch for social media, reading digital magazines or watching movies on Netflix and Google Play. While Lenovo intended its main market to be business users the Tab3 10 should be perfectly fine for other undemanding use like elderly relatives or for giving to your kids to watch movies in the back seat of the car.

We can safely assume that since the Lenovo Australia website page for the Tab3 10 says “Sorry, this product is no longer available” that the next generation Lenovo Tab4 series of tablets announced at MWC is about to be launched in Australia soon. We’ll keep you informed as soon as we find out about pricing and availability.
