Sony is one of a number of manufacturers planning announcements for IFA, we were already expecting the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, and had seen inklings of a Z3 tablet compact, but it seems there may be a Sony SmartWatch 3 as well according to the teaser on the Sony Facebook page.
The teaser comes as a part of a promo for the ‘SmartBand Summer School’ on the Sony Xperia Hub Facebook page, showing a new watch with slightly different design to the SmartWatch 2. It also shows quite a nice looking compact tablet.
We’re almost positive that the release will be a SmartWatch 3 rather than Android Wear, after Sony advised they would stick with their own smart watch platform when Google announced Android Wear.
