JB Hi-Fi have a great special at the moment on the Garmin Fenix 5S. The previous generation of Garmin device flagship is available at JB Hi-Fi for half its usual RRP at just $399, and that’s a huge bargain.
The Garmin Fenix 5S Plus Sport is also on sale, reduced from $999 to $699.
We took a look at the 5S Plus late last year and it really is the cream of the crop. The functionality offered for fitness fanatics is second to none with a wide variety of activity tracking as well as general health matrix monitoring.

When you look at everything the Fenix 5S Plus has to offer it’s an outstanding piece of kit that delivers on everything it promises. There’s a seemingly unbelievable range of activity tracking available including both indoor and outdoor activities, as well as multi-sport, adventure and sleep tracking. All of which can be viewed and analysed in the app directly.
It’s a super comfortable device that you can (I did) wear all day and night with the exception of when it’s charging. This gives you maximum data availability based on your movement patterns, exercise habits and the all important sleep.
Given the recent addition of more devices to the Garmin range and the discount on offer, the Fenix 5S is looking like it may be approaching its end of life making room for a new flagship device soon.
